The design was commissioned by S. Rojas, to be used on his music profile, Shinobi, where he occasionally posted up the music beats that he made.

The client set a few parameters for the art direction. Display the moniker ‘Shinobi‘. Draw a mischievous ninja who always gets in trouble. He’s dressed in green garb, chopping up music samples. The green ninja is equipped with an Akai MPC.

Started out with a pencil sketch to capture a motion of “jump” and “sword slice”. It was mostly carved out in adobe illustrator.
