Where the Sun Don’t Shine

I — made an attempt to start up dialog with the Sun
Wasn’t prepared to engage in any fisticuffs
I thought she would be sophisticated ’cause she is bright
I broke bread — buttered up, but — a dinner fight
Now the milk is spilt — the hilt is tilted downward doggy
Medieval blade — blood kernels — poppin’ out my body
The sun is slicing my syllables into Pez bricks
Inserting words in my throat — interpreting misquotes
What’s the point if the Sun, disjoints my bullet points to strike blunt ?
We may as well play William Tell while baggin’ up a snipe hunt
Ohh, by the way — we’re night and day — my reflection is a lunar scape
Adrift indigo cumulus searching for my schooner mate

Ichi, ni, san, shi — you see — the sun she — used
To illuminate — my dark seas — with her fun beams
She was my sun-shine now she’s un-seen
We used to be un-sullied — rosy — now we’re un-clean
The bright solar is bi-polar — I slide over
To the other side of the table before she grinds molars
On my reliant, pull-over-to-the wide shoulders
The same ones that the sun used to cry over
Her solar flares are cold compared to her glowered glares
I am a lowly crescent, Cheshire to the golden air
Dis-similars repel in this narrative of hell
The sunnn just doesn’t understand the moon
Oh, well ..

Anchors a-weigh ! But I don’t just want a-nother day
‘cause a dayyy is only the centric, solar on display
Moon boy moves on — Red Planet — gravitate
Perchance to dream with that secondary satellite
